Overview
This is the full 280 km Caribbean-to-Pacific crossing compressed into 12 days, which means longer daily distances and less downtime between stages. It suits hikers who already have multi-day trekking experience and want the complete route without the extra rest days built into our 15 and 16-day programs.
How the days unfold
Every departure covers the same 280 km route from the Caribbean to the Pacific: the first stretch (roughly days 1–4) crosses Caribbean lowland rainforest, the middle days (through around day 9) climb into the Cordillera de Talamanca — the most physically demanding section — and the final stages descend through coffee country to the Pacific coast. The detailed day-by-day stage plan, including where you'll sleep each night, is confirmed when you book.
